HUMBLE ROOTS: The grand-daughter, daughter and niece of US Military Veterans, Kathryn grew up in a working-class home in rural Oklahoma. Her father, a firefighter, and mother, a non-profit employee, instilled in Kathryn the values of integrity, family, and civic duty.  

PUBLIC SERVANT: After law school, Kathryn served her community by working as an Assistant District Attorney and then in the Attorney General’s Office. In these roles, Kathryn helped remove corrupt politicians from office, prosecuted crooked sheriffs, and successfully tried multiple jury trials.  As a District Judge she continues her public service and is proven, fair and compassionate.     

SUPPORTING THE RULE OF LAW: Kathryn is a champion for preserving the rule of law and upholding our constitutional rights. Kathryn has also worked with federal and state task forces in combating gang violence and human trafficking. 

A HEART FOR OUR COMMUNITY: Kathryn has a long history of fighting against child abuse and neglect.  Kathryn works with drug and veteran’s courts and diversion programs for those who want a second chance.  Kathryn currently serves as the President of the Oklahoma City Downtown Exchange Club working to promote the prevention of child abuse and partners with Parent Promise to help connect families with parenting resources and education.

LOVING WIFE AND MOTHER: Kathryn and her husband, Malcolm, are very involved in their community. For the Savage’s, family is everything. Kathryn is a proud mother of four children: Claire, Chloe, Caia and Camdyn.
